Reality TV host and Republican presidential candidate, Donald Trump, has quite a few supporters. He also has many people who dislike him. Apparently someone disliked him so much that they completely destroyed his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
From the photos, it appears someone took a pick ax or sledgehammer to Trump’s star. The fixture is completely unrecognizable. Witnesses say the star was defaced early Wednesday morning at around 5:45 AM by a man named Jamie Otis, who was dressed as a city construction worker.
Otis says he originally intended to completely remove the star so that he could auction it off in New York to raise funds for the women who have come forward to accuse Trump of sexually assaulting them. However, when that didn’t work, he opted to completely destroy it.
Donald Trump received his star, located on Hollywood Blvd near the Dolby Theatre, in 2007 in recognition of his work fronting and firing on the NBC series. Apprentice, Deadline reports.
