Donald Trump walked out of his interview with news personality Piers Morgan after being questioned about his false voter fraud claims.
Even though he’s out of the White House, he still seems to live in the headlines. This week, a clip of a new interview with Trump went viral; it showed him walking out of a conversation with Morgan during a discussion about Trump’s voter fraud claims. At one point in one of the clips, Morgan called Trump a “fool.”
“I think I’m a very honest man … much more honest than you, actually,” said Trump during the convo. Morgan responded, saying, “Really?” Trump then said, “Yeah.”
At a certain point, the two went back and forth, calling one another a fool after Morgan told Trump vote “was a free and fair election. You lost.”
“Only a fool would think that,” Trump clapped back. “You think I’m a fool?” Morgan responded. “I do now, yeah,” Trump responded, The New York Post reports.
The conversation between the two comes after Trump claimed he lost the 2020 presidential election between himself and President Joe Biden due to voter fraud via mail-in votes. The conversation continued to spiral, and eventually, Trump got up and walked out of the interview.
“Turn the camera off,” Trump can be heard saying after Morgan said Trump never produced “hard evidence” that voter fraud took place. “Very dishonest,” said Trump as he was walking away.
