On Sunday, Donald Trump’s first wife exposed the celebrity-in-chief of being an emotionally absent father until his children were adults. According to Newsweek, Ivana sat down with AM970’s The Answer to promote her new book “Raising Trump.”
“He did not know how to speak the children’s language,” Ivana told the host of the show of Trump’s relationship with his children. “He was not able to do it until the kids were in university.”
The former model and business woman continued, adding that she made sure she was the primary guardian and caregiver for their three children, Donald, Ivanka and Eric. She also divulged about what she did to keep her children in line.
“I kept them busy, busy, busy,” Ivana said, as she promoted her book about raising her children. “Because if you keep your children busy they have no time to get in trouble.”
“Ivanka had singing classes, piano classes, ballet classes. The boys had hockey classes, karate classes, skiing classes, golf classes, tennis classes,” she said. “You try everything, and then you watch to see what the kids are good at. .. Ivanka, for example, she did not like piano classes, so I cut them off. She did not enjoy it. And I know if you don’t enjoy what you’re doing, you can never be great at it,” she said.
