A 25-year-old woman and a boy between the ages of 5-8-years-old have drowned at former Los Angeles Dodger Carl Crawford’s Texas home on Saturday, according to Fox 26 Houston.
Crawford was hosting a pool party of about six people in north Houston when the boy wandered into the pool, and the woman jumped in to try and save him.
Paramedics were called to the scene around 2:40 p.m, and both the woman and boy were unresponsive when they arrived. They were taken to Memorial Hermann Greater Heights Hospital, where they were pronounced dead.
Footage taken at the scene appears to show Crawford talking to the cops after the incident.
The relationship between Crawford and the victims is unknown at this time. The woman was reportedly taking care of the boy for the day.
