After working on the ‘Detox’ album for over a decade, Dr. Dre had seemingly closed that chapter for good when he admitted that the project just wasn’t working for him.
The long-awaited album had been in the works since 2002, and fans assumed that all hopes of Dre revisiting it again were gone.
Not so fast, though. Recently, the 52-year-old hinted that the possibility was actually still there.

While kicking back at the Golden State Warriors practice, TMZ reported that ESPN’s Chris Hayes asked Dre if his previous suggestions about the ‘Detox’ album never seeing the light of day were true, and the good part about it is, Dre didn’t exactly say ‘yes’ either.

“I’m working on a couple of songs right now. We’ll see,” he says.

If this is true, it would be the first full-length project from him since the release of ‘Compton’, which was nearly three years ago.
