One week after he was rushed to the hospital while sustaining a brain aneurysm, Dr. Dre is still in intensive care, and physicians are still trying to find out what happened.
Sources say that Dre has been in the ICU at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in L.A. since Monday, where Doctors continue to do a list of tests to get to the root question.
Doctors want him to remain in the ICU if he happens to suffer from another aneurysm.
Currently, he is resting comfortably. Sources say that doctors have cautiously informed his family that a “bad outcome” doesn’t appear to be on the horizon.
TMZ is the one who broke the story on Dre suffering from an aneurysm at his Pacific Palisades home.
Brain aneurysms usually result in death, about 50% of the time, and for those who do survive, about 2/3 of them suffer from some permanent neurological deficit.
