Dr. Heavenly Kimes Trades Scrubs for the State House in Georgia Campaign Announcement
Dr. Heavenly Kimes is officially taking her talents from reality TV to real-world politics.
The “Married to Medicine” star and well-known Atlanta-based dentist has announced her candidacy for Georgia House of Representatives, representing District 93. The mother, entrepreneur, and doctor says she’s stepping up to ensure communities like hers are no longer left behind when it comes to healthcare, education, economic opportunity, and justice.
In a heartfelt video post titled “From the heart — this is why I’m running,” Dr. Kimes laid out her reasons for entering the race. She made it clear: this isn’t about political games—it’s about the people. She’s running on a platform of purpose, pushing for meaningful representation and resources under Georgia’s Gold Dome.
“I’ve seen firsthand how our communities are being left behind,” she shared, highlighting the gaps in healthcare and education as key motivators for her run.

Dr. Heavenly has long been vocal about issues impacting Black families and small businesses. Now, she’s putting action behind those words by launching her campaign and asking supporters to help fund a movement she says is rooted in community-driven change.
The campaign website, DrHeavenlyForGeorgia.com, is now live for supporters to donate and join the effort.
