Despite Mariah Huq leaving “Married to Medicine” years ago, she remains a fan favorite, with even Dr. Heavenly Kimes expressing interest in her return.

During a recent interview on “The Nae’Ked Truth with La’Janeé and Kedrin Herron,” Heavenly was asked if she would be opposed to Huq returning to the franchise. Despite their past differences, the dentist revealed she’s open to working with Huq again, citing their chemistry on the show.
“Mariah was amazing. She was amazing for the show. That was the only b***h that could get me…And it was funny. It was still funny. We were still reading each other, but it was still funny. And then her mama, oh my God. I love Miss Lucy,” Heavenly shared.
Huq was an inaugural cast member when the series debuted on March 24th, 2013. She stayed on the show until her departure after Season 7 in 2020. Huq has claimed she felt pushed out by her fellow castmates and filed a lawsuit against Bravo in January 2021, alleging discrimination, breach of contract, and breach of a joint venture agreement. She also served as an executive producer on the franchise. While the outcome of the lawsuit remains unclear, many speculate it was settled quietly.
Although the chances of Huq returning to the network seem slim, Heavenly made her stance clear: “I would bring her back.”
Huq has not yet publicly responded to Heavenly’s remarks.
