Fake Florida Teen Doctor Nicknamed “Dr. Love” Headed Back to Jail for New Scam

Do you remember the teen who was dubbed “Dr. Love” after practicing medicine without a license? Well, he’s headed back to jail.

Malachi Love-Robinson, now 25, has pleaded guilty to fraud charges in a separate case.

This time he faces charges of grand theft and organized scheme to defraud, CBS News reported. He was sentenced to 28 months in prison for the crimes.

An investigation was launched in March 2020 when the owner of United States of Freight, a shipping broker in Delray Beach, claimed Love-Robinson had rerouted business payments to go to his personal accounts.

Love-Robinson became well-known years before. In 2016, when he was just 18, he was charged with operating a medical office at 4700 North Congress Avenue in West Palm Beach and presenting himself as a certified medical doctor, which he wasn’t.

He pleaded guilty to the six charges that stemmed from that investigation and was sentenced to three and a half years in prison.

Some people never learn.
