‘Botched’ surgeon Dr. Terry Dubrow is speaking out about the dangers of the very popular “Brazilian Butt Lift” procedure.
In an interview with TMZ, Dr. Dubrow shared the harsh truth about BBL surgery, revealing that the particular surgery while seemingly simple, is the most likely to result in death.
“It’s very dangerous. It turned out to be the most dangerous surgery, not just plastic surgery, and the highest mortality rate,” he said. “The problem is that there’s these very small tiny veins in the buttocks. It connects directly to the vena cava, the main blood vessel that returns from the body to the heart and lungs. If you get fat in those little vessels and it gets in the main vena cava, it’s over,” he warned.
