Drake has abruptly canceled the final four sold-out dates of his Anita Max Win Tour in Australia and New Zealand, leaving fans disappointed.
A representative for the rapper confirmed the cancellations, citing a scheduling conflict as the reason.
“We are actively working on rescheduling these dates along with adding some additional shows,” Drake’s rep said. “All tickets for the affected shows will remain valid for the new dates. Refunds will be available for those who prefer, but please note that as these shows are sold out, any refunded tickets will be released for sale.”
The impacted shows included two consecutive nights in Auckland (March 15 and 16), as well as dates in Brisbane (March 4) and Sydney (March 7).
Drake had already performed in major cities like Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane, and Sydney before announcing the sudden cancellations. The team assured fans that they are working to reschedule the performances as soon as possible.
“We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience. Drake and the entire team have had an incredible time doing these shows and are excited to return soon,” the rep added.
During the tour, the Canadian rapper also promoted his surprise album, Some Sexy Songs 4 U, a collaborative project with fellow artist PartyNextDoor. The album, released on Valentine’s Day, debuted at No. 1 on the US Billboard 200.
In addition to his touring commitments, Drake remains in the spotlight due to his ongoing feud with Kendrick Lamar and a legal battle with Universal Music Group, the parent company of Republic Records, where he is currently signed.
