Drake pulled out all the stops while staying in New York City for his two-night stint at Harlem’s Apollo Theater last weekend.
Page Six reports that the Canadian rapper rented out the most expensive hotel room in North America: the penthouse at the Mark Hotel, which reportedly rents for $75,000 a night. Drizzy also rented rooms for his entourage at the same Upper East Side hotel.
The 10,000-square-foot hotel room features five bedrooms, six bathrooms, a grand piano, four fireplaces, a balcony with views, and a steam room. It also has a full kitchen and a massive dining room with seating for 24 guests.
Staying on the Upper East Side, Drake rented out the members-only club Casa Cruz to host his friends and family members after the first show.
”He pulled out all the stops with food, drink, and gifts to thank them all for their unwavering support over the years,’ an insider told the outlet. “It was extremely exclusive.”
After his second performance, the “Sticky” rapper ventured down to the city’s Chelsea neighborhood, dining with a small group at Cucina Alba.
Drake’s packed Apollo performances were presented by SiriusXM alongside his show Sound 42 and boasted special guests like The Diplomats, 21 Savage, Lil Uzi Vert, and more.
