Drake has taken immediate legal action against a woman who has stalked him for almost five years.
Larry Stein, the attorney for the “Scorpion” rhymer, asked for a temporary restraining order against 29-year-old Mesha Collins. The woman has repeatedly shown up to Drizzy’s home. In April 2017, she actually made her way inside the Hidden Hills, California mansion, where she raided his fridge and barricaded herself inside one of the home’s bedrooms. She was ultimately convicted of trespassing, though the case did not phase her.
She continued coming to the home and began sending emails that threatened the rapper and his family. Last month, Stein received an email from Collins, where she said that Drake should “put a bullet” in Stein’s head.
Following her 2017 arrest, Collins filed a $4 billion lawsuit against Drake for defamation and invasion of privacy. However, he shot back at her claims, stating that he had no way of defaming her since he wasn’t aware that she was suing him at the time. Collins tried to refile her lawsuit last month, though it was denied.
If the temporary restraining order is granted against Collins, it will cover the rapper, his parents, and his son, Adonis.
