Drake took to Instagram Sunday to show off his father Dennis Graham‘s ancestry test results, which determined he’s got mostly Nigerian ancestry.
“This is my dad’s results,” Drake shared in his Story. “Does this mean I’m a Naija man finally?”
According to Ancestry.com, his father is at least 30% Nigerian, with Cameroon, Congo, and Western Bantu Peoples descent accounting for 28%, and Ivory Coast and Ghana accounting for 11% of his DNA.
Additionally, the results found he had 10% DNA from England and Northwestern Europe, Scotland, and Mali.
The rapper is known for using influences from around the world in his music, which often results in haters accusing him of being a culture vulture. However, with this new-found information, could those claims be finally laid to rest?
