Just months after Drake was exposed for knocking up a former porn star, and hiding his child, the Canada-bred rapper is looking to set the record straight, and clear the air of all other allegations of paternity.
In a new lawsuit obtained by TMZ, Drake called a woman out who claimed he got her pregnant and also forced himself on her..
According to the “Nonstop” rapper, Drake says he met Layla Lace last year on his “Boy Meets World” tour in Manchester, England. He said the two linked up after the show and hooked up at his hotel.
Drake says the two had consensual sex, and “Layla also voluntarily and seemingly happily performed oral sex,” on him. But, according to the rapper, things took turn for the worse, once it was time for her to leave.
In the suit filed by Drake’s lawyer Larry Stein, he says Layla went crazy when he tried to give her the boot, as she was under the impression that he would want to take her on the road.
From there, Drake says she created a “fantasy relationship” with him, but once he stopped responding, Layla went off.
In April, two months after their initial meeting, Layla took to Instagram with her pregnancy claims, accusing Drake of ghosting her after she told him she was pregnant. She then announced the false information on Sirius XM.
One month after that, according to the lawsuit, Layla hired a lawyer and demanded money for the alleged baby, as she threatened to fight back with defamation over a TMZ story that claimed Drake never even met her.
But, when Drake demanded a paternity test, he said Layla refused and her lawyer went ghost, which proved the entire ordeal to be a scam.
“There is no credible evidence of pregnancy, nor any baby, which would have been born last Fall,” the lawsuit read, highlighting Layla’s next move, which included accusations of rape.
Drake says Layla then hired a new lawyer and attempted to extort him for money over the allegations. But, after an investigation, Manchester police cleared Drake of the allegations. But, that didn’t stop Layla.
After the rape claims fell through, Drake says she tried to get him to buy her silence, which he refused. Instead, he filed a suit for civil extortion, emotional distress, fraud, defamation and abuse of process.
Well, that escalated quickly.
