Just one hour after its release, Drake’s latest album “Honestly, Nevermind,” set a new Apple Music record.
When it comes to being a record-breaker, Drizzy isn’t new to the party. Last Friday, Drake surprised the world with a 14-track album titled “Honestly, Nevermind,” and just one hour after its debut, it broke the record for the most first-day streams.
His last album “Certified Lover Boy,” still holds its place as the biggest album in Apple Music history by first-day streams. The second biggest album was Drake’s Scorpion and the biggest song was “Girls Want Girls.”
Drake dropped “Honestly, Nevermind,” his seventh studio album, at midnight on Friday last week.
In his album notes, he wrote: “I purposely try to forget what went on between some ppl and I because I know I’m not a forgiving guy even when I try,” adding, “My urge for revenge wins the game against my good guy inside every single fckn time.”
