Drake’s Toronto residence experienced another security incident on Saturday when his security team subdued an alleged trespasser. This marks the third such incident in a week, escalating concerns about safety at the artist’s home.
According to new video footage and photos obtained by TMZ, one of Drake’s security guards was filmed restraining the individual on the lawn outside the mansion. The footage briefly captures the guard holding the trespasser down, with his arms secured behind his back.
An eyewitness who was passing by on his bicycle recounted seeing two of Drake’s security personnel tackle the man to the ground, with one guard applying a knee on the man’s back to immobilize him. The eyewitness noted that the trespasser did not resist significantly.
While one security member communicated over the radio, the other continued to restrain the individual until further assistance arrived.
The past week has proven challenging for the security at Drake’s estate; two other trespassers were apprehended by police, and a separate drive-by shooting incident resulted in injuries to one of Drake’s security team members.
Details are still emerging, and both law enforcement and Drake’s representatives have yet to provide comments on the latest incident.
This story is still developing.
