As previously speculated, Draya Michele has announced that she is indeed pregnant. The swimsuit designer told People magazine that she is 5 months along and is expecting a baby boy in April with fiancé Orlando Scandrick. “We made an appointment to see the sex of the baby for 16 weeks, but surprisingly at 12 weeks, our doctor was able to see that he was a boy,” Draya says.
Draya is already the parent of her 13-year-old son Knicko, while Scandrick is daddy to 6-year-old twin girls. This will be the first child for the couple together. The new-found actress says that her son was one of the first people she told, noting that she “felt really bad keeping it a secret from him,” and had to buckle down and spill the beans.
Draya says that she isn’t sure what exactly made her want to take an at home pregnancy test, but she took the second, “They were both positive and [She] was instantly excited.”
Draya says that she is currently still on a full-time work schedule, but is eating properly and exercising regularly to keep her work down. The reality star- turned business mogul has no plans on slowing down anytime soon. “I plan on working on the 2016 summer collection of Mint Swim and I have a few movies premiering as well as a TV show,” she explains. “I’m a very busy lady and I love taking my bump to work with me.”
