CHAPTER FIVE

Scented candles filled the room with Brian McKnight love of my life playing softly around the room. I set my wine glass and the box on the table next to the door. Looking around the hotel room filled with flowers and candles, chills filled my arms and soul.
“Am I dreaming? Or did he really do this?” Turning around to the concierge, he sat the wine bottle on table smiling and left the room peacefully ignoring my question.

Following the rose petals to the bathroom, there was a red silk robe laid across the sink. Picking up the note next to the robe it read get ready, My designer picked out something special that will fit you perfectly, Tonight I have a second special date for my future wife.

Looking at the wine bottle annoyed, Well hell! I needed a shot for all of this shit. Pulling my dress down I studied my curves, pulling my hair into a high bun I stepped into the hot tub filled with bubbles and petals. Sinking in I thought about life…

Life with him, how amazing is this. I hate shit like this because it makes me weak. Now I’m in love… All over again. I’m confused, I’m scared. Why are we in a hotel? Why couldn’t he do this in his house? Is he married? I should probably google him. Then what if I find something? My eyes shot open! The box! This is the perfect time to see what’s in the box.

Grabbing the robe off the sink I slid it on, walking towards the door where I had set it. I drank down the rest of my wine in the wine glass. Knock! knock! I looked through the doors peephole it was a lady with a garment bag, and a tall man with two suitcases in his hand. Opening the door. “May I help you? I think you may have the wrong room” confused they smiled looking at each other. “Your beautiful, we have a few things for you to look at for your special date tonight” the lady smiled with a London accent. They walked right in. Tying my robe I closed the door following them towards the bed. “Oh! He has it really set up nice for you, I have these three pieces, let’s try them and see which one you like best!” She said smiling laying the beautiful pieces out. “Would you two happen to know where I’m going tonight? It’s a little late don’t you think?” I said watching the man sat out the Jewlery next to each piece. “Where you two are going it probably won’t be late.” He said smiling.

Slipping on my last piece, I twirled around the room in my dress by Ellie Saab. The dress was fitted, chic and sexy. “You look beautiful, your driver will be here in the next five minutes, it was a pleasure styling you Mrs.Smith.” She said packing up. “Excuse me… Smith? No I’m sorry. I’m not married.” I said grabbing my clutch. “Not married yet”. She said smiling.
After letting them out, I looked in the mirror studying my new life. I was wearing a 5,000 dollar dress from a designer that I’ve never even heard or seen of. All I know is I was done searching for the bad is this man, I wanted it all. Anything he had to offer I was taking it. The phone rang, I knew it was the driver downstairs. Looking in the mirror one last time, I was flawless!

“Excuse me sir? Where are you taking me?” I said wondering where I was being driven too. I knew this was like a fairytale, but I was scared. Scared of what this man was capable of. Why would he doing this all for me? “It’s a surprise”. He said nodding his head. I rolled up the partition annoyed with his response. I texted my mom to let her know I was okay I knew she would be upset if she found out I had left with out telling her. The car stopped. I looked through the window, I could barley see it was so dark. My door opened, grabbing my clutch, I stepped out. “Where am I? What the fuck is this”? I said looking at the driver. He smiled at me with no answer of course. A well dressed man stepped out of a all black rolls Royce, he walked towards me smiling. I couldn’t believe this man, I couldn’t believe how much he was doing just to make me happy. I smiled wrapping my arms around him. He kissed me softly looking at my dress. “I knew you would pick that one” he said licking his lips. This man was a mystery but I loved it, I loved every single bit of it. His phone rang, late at night who could this be? His wife maybe? All of my butterflies had went right out the window!

Interrupting his conversation
“What do you take me as, a dress up doll? Can you please tell me why it’s this late? And I’m in this dress and why are we standing in the middle of a big ass open space outside?” I yelled at the top of my lungs. “Bring it in John, I think she’s ready to go” he said laughing looking at me.

A loud noise came from the sky, I looked up and it was a jet, I turned around looking at the driver and he winked still smiling.

The jet landed, “You still mad at me baby?” He smiled grabbing my hand.
