Duke Dennis is back in headlines, but this time it’s not for content creation. The popular streamer and AMP member was arrested Saturday night at a shopping mall in San Antonio. According to police, the 31-year-old is facing charges for criminal trespassing and evading arrest.

Footage quickly surfaced online showing Dennis in handcuffs, seated on the mall floor surrounded by officers. Fellow AMP creator Kai Cenat was seen above, phone in hand, apparently filming. His presence only added fuel to the fire as social media lit up with reactions.
The incident occurred shortly after AMP’s massive summer rollout. The group, which includes Dennis, Cenat, Fanum, Agent 00, Chrisnxtdoor, and ImDavisss, had been filming from a 53-acre estate previously owned by NBA legend Tony Parker. Their campaign featured daily livestreams and community events throughout San Antonio.
Authorities haven’t linked the arrest to AMP’s activities, and Dennis has yet to speak publicly. However, the timing has fans questioning whether the group’s no-filter style could come with real-world costs.
AMP is known for blending reality and entertainment, but Dennis’s arrest might signal a new chapter. As creators turn public spaces into content backdrops, the boundaries between entertainment and legal consequences seem blurrier than ever.
For Dennis, the stream that started with personal revelations about kids and relationships ended with handcuffs and headlines.
He remains in custody as questions swirl about what’s next for him and AMP.
