With its new line of spiked beverages, Dunkin wants its fanbase to turn to them for all its kickback needs.
The coffee connoisseur announced its new line of Spiked Iced Coffees and Iced Teas. Officially known as Dunkin Spiked, the drinks will begin popping up in stores starting next month. With the coffee, customers will have the option of original, caramel, mocha, and vanilla with 6% alcohol and 30 milligrams of caffeine, the company explained in a statement.
There will also be several tasty options to choose from in the tea lineup. Those who favor the leafy beverage can choose between black tea with a hint of lemon, strawberry dragonfruit, and a tropical mango and pineapple blend. While the buzz will still be felt, the alcohol amount is slightly less than its coffee kindred. With the Spiked iced Tea, Dunkin is only incorporating 5% of alcohol with between 15-30 milligrams of caffeine.
Dunkin President Scott Murphy says the innovation is one that customers “can start and end” their day with. While a great idea for the blazing Summer months, the Spiked quenchers won’t be available nationwide for quite some time. Beginning in September, only Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Texas, and Vermont will be getting a shipment. Other states can expect their Spiked drinks beginning next year, CNN reports.
The Spiked Iced Coffees and Iced Teas can be purchased in dozen 12-ounce cans or a four-pack of 12-ounce cans. For those who just want to give the new sips a drink before purchasing multiple, there is also the option for a single 19.2-ounce can.
