The Charlotte Hornets have solidified a deal and Dwight Howard is headed to Brooklyn.
According to ESPN, Charlotte agreed to give up Howard in place of Center Timofey Mozgov, two second-round draft picks, and cash.
For Charlotte, it was a no-brainer, as the team was determined to get Howard off of there roster as his contract expired.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Of course, Howard’s trade will not be solidified until the moratorium is over on July 6.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The trade will mark Howard’s third team since 2016, and rumors swirl once again that say there was drama behind the deal.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Just last year, Hawks player Zach Lowe admitted in his podcast that after Howard was traded from the Hawks, he and his fellow teammates celebrated.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Now, one source is saying things weren’t much different in Charlotte.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
“The locker room did not like Dwight Howard,” ESPN’s Brendan Haywood said on Howard Beck’s Sirius XM radio. “Guys were just sick and tired of his act.”
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
While these comments cannot be confirmed, they do play into the fact that Charlotte just accepted a deal that wouldn’t regularly be considered an immediate win to most.

How do think the eight-time All-Star will do in Brooklyn?
