Have you ever popped two Eggo Waffles into the toaster and thought: “I could really use some eggnog to go along with this?” Well, you’re in luck as the first ever Eggo Nog has become a reality.
Kellogg’s has teamed up with Sugarlands Distilling Co. for their Eggo Nog Appalachian Sippin’ Cream, a genius spin on the adult-only quencher that is a staple during the holiday season. The Eggo Nog was designed with parents in mind who enjoy the famous waffles for dinner after their kiddos have enjoyed them for breakfast.
“We created Eggo Nog to give parents a delicious way to indulge in some well-deserved evening me time,” said Joe Beauprez, Marketing Director for Eggo.
Eggo Nog contains 20% alcohol and features a mouthwatering blend of deep flavors of churned cream, cinnamon, and nutmeg. The company is confident that this unique yet delicious combination will pair perfectly with a toasted Eggo waffle.
Sugarlands is rolling out the holiday icon by sharing recipes with which the Eggo Nog can be used. One that stood out is the Peppermint White Russian, which features the exclusive eggnog, High Rock Vodka, Peppermint Moonshine, and half & half shaken up with ice and poured into a glass that has chocolate or crushed peppermint around the rim. The Eggo Nog Martini also merges vodka with the already tipsy-inducing drink.
Eggo Nog Appalachian Sippin’ Cream is available now but is only anticipated through December. Only select liquor and wine stores carry this waffle-inspired beverage. Luckily, www.sugarlands.com/products/eggonog has you covered. Head there now, search your address, and learn where you can pick up your bottle today.
