“Saturday Night Live” is introducing a new member to its comedy team.
On Friday, NBC announced comedienne Ego Nwodim will be her SNL career on their 44th season which starts later this month.
Nwodium graduated from the University of Southern California and pursued her career greatly through Upright Citizen’s Brigade in Los Angeles. While there, she performed her one-woman show, “Great Black Women … and Then There’s Me.” Some of the other projects she has contributed to are “Law & Order True Crime” and “2 Broke Girls.”
In addition to Nwodium, #SNL has also picked up four new writers including Alan Linic, Alison Gates, Eli Mandel, and Bowen Yang. #SaturdayNightLive is set to hit the stage on Sept. 29 for the season premiere. The first show will have guest performances by #KanyeWest and #AdamDriver is will be the host.
