Eleven men have been arrested as part of a sex trafficking operation bust that spanned multiple counties in Indiana.
Jeff Hendricks, 49; Samual N. Kaufman, 20; Joshua Lynn Sliter, 30; Derrick Osvaldo Sosa, 19; Jason A. Thorson, 40; Francisco Bernardo Amayo Marquez, 25; Dylan Cole Muncy, 22; Chase Maxwell, Reese, 30; Nicholas Sorley, 22; James W. Thomas II, 35 and Dustin Usury, 35 have all been charged for their participation in a large child sex human trafficking and child sex operation that last over two years.
The operation took place in several Indiana counties, including Greenwood, Bloomington, Unionville and more.
Fox 59 reports that men were captured after detectives made fake profiles on sexual websites. Authorities made fake profiles acting like they were 14-year-olds to catch the men. The men then spoke to undercover detectives about the sexual acts they’d like to perform.
“To see those chats, and to see that individual describe to the officers what they want to do,” said Johnson County Sheriff Duane Burgess. At least one of the men drove two hours live out his sexual fantasies with a child.“Some of these folks will stop by a lingerie store, sex store, whatever, pick up items and bring with them,” Burgess added. Some men brought a variety of items, including drugs, porn and one man brought a gun.
“I think it reiterates that they knew exactly what they were doing,” said Johnson County Deputy Prosecutor Ryan Bland. “It’s something they were going after regardless of the circumstances, and they were willing to travel.”
All of the men, except one, were charged with child solicitation. None of the men are believed to be part of any human trafficking organization, Fox 59 reports.
