For those who have been living under a rock, R&B singer Elle Varner and New York Knicks’ Iman Shumpert have been friends for quite some time. The two have shared very cryptic social media messages that would lead one to believe that they were romantically involved. It looks like the cat is out of the bag because Elle Varner has finally admitted that she and Iman are going steady and she couldn’t be more relieved to be able to share it.
While walking the red carpet at this year’s ASCAP Awards Hip Hollywood asked the siner about her love life to which she proudly gushes, “He’s awesome, we’ve been friends for such a long time. Of all the guys that I’ve met throughout being in the limelight, he’s the one guy that really stuck it out and built a friendship with me, and it meant a lot. I’m glad I’m not hiding it anymore, it was a lot of work.”
