Ellen DeGeneres is celebrating the end of her successful daytime talk show by handing out “millions of dollars” in bonuses to her staffers.
According to a New York Post exclusive, the 64-year-old comedian worked with Warner Brothers to give her staff big bonuses.
The final episode of “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” is set to air May 26, and a source told The Post that “Ellen and [production company] Warner Bros. worked together to make sure every person was taken care of.”
The exact seven-figure sum distributed to staffers was not divulged, but the source declared: “It was not even a question for Ellen to cover bonuses … That was very important to her.”
The bonus news comes two years after allegations of a “toxic” work environment behind the scenes of the wildly popular program.
DeGeneres addressed those allegations in 2020, offering an on-air apology for not being aware of the alleged problems that plagued her show.
