After making headlines for his newborn son’s interesting name ‘X Æ A-12,’ Elon Musk, CEO of SpaceX, is in hot water again.
Musk took to Twitter on Monday to reveal that despite California’s strict orders set in place amid the crisis, Telsa is beginning to resume production in Almeda County.
Tesla is restarting production today against Alameda County rules. I will be on the line with everyone else. If anyone is arrested, I ask that it only be me.

“Tesla is restarting production today against Alameda County rules,” Musk tweeted. “I will be on the line with everyone else. If anyone is arrested, I ask that it only be me.”
Musk has been going back in forth with Almeda County in response to the county’s orders to have the plant remained closed to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
However, Musk disagrees with the county’s order, and as a result, he has sued the county and is threatening to move the factory to either Texas or Nevada.
Musk also revealed that California had given him the okay to resume work as normal, but said the county is trying to block the plant from opening up.
Yes, California approved, but an unelected county official illegally overrode. Also, all other auto companies in US are approved to resume. Only Tesla has been singled out. This is super messed up!

Last week, California Governor Gavin Newsom revealed the opening of some low-risk industry jobs set for May 8.
“Today, CA released guidance for some lower-risk industries to begin reopening,” Newsom wrote on Twitter. “Along with manufacturing and logistics associated can start to reopen.”
Musk has been facing backlash and criticism from followers and fans on Twitter for his decision to reopen business, as usual, however, with California approving Telsa to begin regular operations, there’s not much to be said here.
