Elon Musk may be in some legal trouble and not take over Twitter soon. The Tesla CEO tweeted that Twitter’s legal team called him to complain about violating a non-disclosure agreement.Â
CNN has the now-deleted tweets, “Twitter (TWTR) legal just called to complain that I violated their NDA by revealing the bot check sample size is 100!” tweeted Musk, chief executive of electric car maker Tesla (TSLA).”Â
On Friday, Musk tweeted that his $44 billion deal was “temporarily on hold” while he awaited the results of the fake/spam accounts. In the meantime, he says that Twitter was randomly sampling 100 followers to figure out the bots.Â
CNN reports, “When a user asked Musk to ‘elaborate on process of filtering bot accounts,’ he replied: ‘I picked 100 as the sample size number because that is what Twitter uses to calculate <5% fake/spam/duplicate.'”Â
His tweets are most likely what set Twitter’s legal team to investigate and reveal that he went against an NDA.Â
