Elon Musk’s Daughter Vivian Wilson Speaks Out Following His Anti-Trans Rant About Her

In a recent live stream on X (formerly Twitter), Elon Musk and Jordan Peterson discussed a wide range of topics, from Christian imagery to the controversial “carnivore diet.” However, Musk’s comments about his estranged daughter, Vivian Wilson, caused the most uproar. Musk repeatedly misgendered Wilson, who transitioned and legally changed her name in 2022, taking her mother, Justine Wilson’s surname.

During the conversation, Musk portrayed himself as a victim of Wilson’s transition and legal name change, alleging that he was “tricked” into signing documents that allowed her to start puberty blockers. He referred to Wilson with male pronouns, expressing that his “son” had been “killed” by what he called the “woke mind virus.” Musk linked this personal experience to his recent alignment with far-right politics.

Vivian Wilson, 20, responded to her father’s remarks on her Threads account. She challenged Musk’s narrative, specifically addressing a tweet where Musk claimed she was born “gay and slightly autistic.” Musk recounted that he knew this because Wilson, as a child, would pick out clothes for him and show an affinity for musicals. Wilson categorically denied these claims, stating, “This is entirely fake,” and criticized Musk for perpetuating stereotypes.

Wilson elaborated that Musk’s portrayal of her childhood was inaccurate, as he was largely absent and, when present, critical of her femininity and queerness. She emphasized that her decision to disown Musk was her own and clarified her legal status as female, dismissing Musk’s refusal to acknowledge her gender identity.

In her posts, Wilson also took a jab at Musk’s mental state, suggesting he was lost in a “ketamine-fueled haze” and seeking validation from a particular segment of his fanbase. Musk has previously spoken about using ketamine for therapeutic purposes.

Musk did not directly address Wilson’s comments. Instead, he shared content unrelated to the controversy, including a nostalgic video from the 1992 Olympics opening ceremony and an AI-generated image of himself in Roman military armor, captioned with a call to “fight the anti-human woke mind virus.”
