Elton John will be hosting an iHeartmedia Coronavirus Benefit Concert that is set to air on Fox March 29, from 9-10 PM ET/6-7 PM PT. The special concert will raise money to help organizations stop the spread of the coronavirus in the U.S.
The concert, which is officially called The iHeart Living Room Concert for America, will feature performances from Billie Eilish, Tim McGraw, Mariah Carey, Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day, Alicia Keys, Backstreet Boys and more.
The performances will be done from inside of their homes filmed with their personal cell phones, audio equipment, and cameras. This is to help protect the safety of everyone that is apart of the concert. There will also be more performers and details announced soon.
The benefit concert is set to be an hour-long and commercial-free. The concert will pay tribute to health professionals and first responders that are on the front lines of the fight against the coronavirus pandemic. The concert is also encouraging viewers to support two of many organizations that are helping first responders and victims during the pandemic, First Responders Children’s Foundation and Feeding America.
The iHeart Living Room Concert for America will also be aired on Fox Linear TV channels and digital platforms as well as iHeartRadio radio stations nationwide l, including the iHeartRadio app.
