Eminem has sought a protective order in the continuing trademark dispute involving Gizelle Bryant and Robyn Dixon regarding the “Reasonably Shady” podcast, which features the “Real Housewives of Potomac” stars.
According to AllHipHop, the rapper submitted the motion on December 15th, aiming to avoid a personal appearance for a deposition with the reality stars. Eminem contended that attending court would impose an “unduly burdensome” demand, citing his “limited knowledge of the subjects at issue.” His legal representatives proposed three individuals, including the rapper’s manager, Paul Rosenberg, who possess “equal and superior knowledge” on the pertinent topics and are willing to appear on his behalf.
However, the rapper’s legal team contends that Dixon and Bryant insist on deposing Eminem. Therefore, they are seeking a protective order to prevent the deposition of the rapper.
