It seems that 2024 is the year of rap beef, and Eminem is getting in the ring.
The Detroit rapper, who is no stranger to taking shots in his music, just released “Doomsday Pt. 2,” where he dissed not only Benzino but also mentioned his daughter Coi Leray. Unlike many of his counterparts, Em is not afraid to put a name in his raps, calling out father and daughter directly.
“What is the opposite of Benzino? (Uh, what?)/A giraffe/ Go at his neck, how the f**k is that? /How can I go at somethin’ he doesn’t have? /Arm so short he can’t even touch his hands,” Slim Shady rapped. He added that the former “Love & Hip-Hop Atlanta” star is dirt poor and lives out of motels such as the Red Roof Inn.
When it came to Leray, Em suggested that he’d never be able to work with her.
“Well, I guess then I regret to inform you, hate to spoil the day/But this doesn’t bring me no joy to say/Guess that Coi Leray feat’s in the toilet, aye?” Em rapped.
This record may appear unprovoked to some. However, Eminem fans know that his feud with Benzino is nearly 20 years old. In 2004, Benzino, who was still with The Source magazine, leaked an audio of Eminem using the N-word and making anti-Black comments such as “Black girls are dumb, and white girls are good chicks.” The moment led to immense backlash for both Em and The Source and is partially the reason why Benzino, despite being a founder, was outed from the company.
Leray responded to Em in a tweet: “Man who the hell said I wanted a Eminem feature ?? Imagine Eminem on Wanna Come thru?”

Coi also fired off several more tweets, slamming the negativity and rap beef as a whole.

I got no issues with no one. I’m so locked in on my grown and sexy vibes… if anybody don’t like me, that’s something they gotta take on with them selves❤️

Benzino has seemingly deactivated his Instagram page, so it’s unclear how he feels about the diss.
