Jeffrey Epstein’s former housekeeper Juan Alessi took the stand in the Ghislaine Maxwell trial and described what it was like to work for Maxwell and the infamous late billionaire.
The 72-year-old Alessi told jurors about the 58 page “Household Manual” he received from Maxwell that meticulously detailed how to cater to the couple and their guests.
Alessi said Epstein’s palatial mansion was run like a “five star hotel” where employees were warned not to fraternize with guests and to avoid eye contact with the alleged pedophile.
Alessi said Maxwell who he called the “lady of the house” told employees to “see nothing, hear nothing, say nothing.”
“I was supposed to be blind, deaf and dumb and say nothing of their lives,” Alessi told the court.
The manual reportedly also included cleaning instructions and repeatedly stressed the important need to be discreet and “respect (the couple and their guests’) privacy”.
