One of Jeffrey Epstein’s alleged victims has testified that his longtime associate, Ghislaine Maxwell, was tasked with finding three girls a day to be sexually abused by Epstein.
Annie Farmer, who has waived any anonymity in the case, testified in front of a federal judge on Tuesday.
“She was a sexual predator who abused me and countless other children and young women,” Farmer told the judge.
Prosecutors have not made all of the testimony public, but according to the Sunday Times of London, court documents filed allege that Farmer’s parents divorced when she was young, and her mother struggled financially, which Epstein took advantage of. Maxwell and Epstein groomed Farmer by buying her gifts, normalizing sexual behavior to her, and eventually sexually assaulting her.
At Epstein’s ranch in New Mexico, “Maxwell touched intimate parts of Annie’s body against her will for the sexual benefit of Maxwell and Epstein. Maxwell exposed Annie’s breasts and groped her. Annie was extremely distressed and afraid. She was a child in a massive ranch, away from her family, and isolated from any source of help,” the documents read.
The morning after Maxwell abused her, Epstein went into Farmer’s bedroom, got into bed with her, and sexually assaulted her.
Epstein allegedly also abused Farmer’s older sister, Maria.
Maxwell, charged with helping Epstein abuse girls as young as 14, was denied bail by the judge and is awaiting her trial at the Brooklyn Detention Center. She faces up to 35 years in prison if convicted.
