Eric B. Released After Being Arrested For 17-Year-Old Warrant

One half of the Hip-Hop, iconic duo Eric B. & Rakim, Eric B has been released from Bergen County Jail.

According to The New York Times, Eric B., whose real name is Eric Barrier, was arrested just two weeks ago for an outstanding warrant dating back to 2002. The bench warrant was originally issued for failure to appear in court for sentencing on an assault he pled guilty to that year.

Barrier’s attorney states he was told back then by his former attorney there was no need for him to appear.
