Erica Banks is not holding back when it comes to her former labelhead, Carl Crawford. In a recent sit-down with Reallyfe Productions Network, the “Buss It” rapper described Crawford as “a terrible businessman” and “a liar,” adding, “like a child in a grown person’s body, if you will.”

Banks acknowledged that Crawford gave her an opportunity early in her career but said their professional relationship soured after her breakout single took off.
“When ‘Buss It’ came out, everything was good… but then he became very controlling. He didn’t like to pay his people,” she explained. “Every other six months, he was firing his team and hiring a new one because he didn’t like to pay or respect them. Everybody is not going to tell the same lie.”
The rapper also addressed Crawford’s recent claim that he sponsored her Brazilian butt lift procedure. While Banks confirmed he loaned her $5,000 toward the surgery, she stressed that she paid it back and personally covered the remaining $15,000.
Her version starkly contrasts Crawford’s public statements that he paid for the entire operation and plans to put money aside for other female artists’ cosmetic surgeries.
Crawford has not yet responded to Banks’ latest dig at him. However, since her exit from 1501, Banks has made it clear she has no intention of repairing their working relationship.
