Gospel Singer Erica Campbell Believes Kanye West Should Practice His Beliefs Not Just on Sundays But Everyday [Video]

Gospel singer Erica Campbell feels Kanye West needs to practice what he preaches daily.

TMZ recently caught up with the singer and was asked about her opinion on the “Follow God” rapper’s behavior. Erica says she believes if Kanye is saying he’s a follower of God, then he should act that way throughout the week not just on Sundays.

“I just think if you’re trying to be like God on Sunday,” the Mary Mary singer said. “Then you should be like him on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday as well.”

Erica goes on to add that she’s not saying Kanye needs to be perfect but his everyday actions should reflect his beliefs.

“Does that mean perfection? Not at all, but it means your choices should be governed by what you believe. If you believe in faith and being kind, being gracious and being understanding and being patient then you gotta be that way all week long.”

Nevertheless, Erica seemed to be sympathetic to Kanye adding “we don’t always get it right. Prayers up for Kanye.”
