Since his recent comeback to Twitter “The College Dropout” rapper has revealed his solo project as well as collaborations with #KidCudi, #Nas, #TeyanaTaylor and #PushaT all to be released by this June. Well, yesterday, #KanyeWest went on another rant of tweets ranging from his opinionated success of the Yeezy brand to his acceptance of President Donald Trump.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
#1: Yeezy is the 2nd fastest selling company next to Apple
Amid a series of tweets, West expects Yeezy to be the biggest apparel company in human history. He tweeted, “We have 160 positions to fill by the end of the year. Yeezy will hit a billion dollars this year. It is the 2nd fastest growing company in history. It is a unicorn on its way to becoming a decacorn.” While hubristically inserting that he makes “more money on shoes than Michael Jordan.”

#2: Kanye struggled with opioid addiction
Earlier this week, Hot 97’s morning radio host, #Ebro, claimed to he had an phone conversation with the rapper, where he stated, “Nobody really showed love for me when I was addicted to opioids and in the hospital.” With this new piece of information, fans quickly speculated West’s Twitter outbursts to be a result of mental health issues. However, his wife and entertainment mogul, #KimKardashian, defended him with the following tweets:
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
“To the media trying to demonize my husband let me just say this… your commentary on Kanye being erratic & his tweets being disturbing is actually scary,” she wrote on Wednesday, April 25. “So quick to label him as having mental health issues for just being himself when he has always been expressive is not fair.”

#3: His house indeed looks like the sunken place
Since his viral breakdown during a concert in 2016, West took a hiatus from social media only appearing in family photos. Media and fans humorously referenced him as being in the “sunken place” a hypnosis scene from Oscar-winning movie, “Get Out.”
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The rapper posted photos of his house on Twitter with the captions, “do this look like the sunken place ?” and “more tweets from the sunken place.” West sarcasm was backed by his wife’s address to media, “…He’s actually out of the sunken place when he’s being himself which is very expressive,” Kim tweeted.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
“And also I’m all the way out the sunken place. And I’m not scared anymore. I’m not scared of the media. I’m not scared of the past and I’m optimistic about the future. This tweet is in love not fear,” West proceeded.

#4: Kanye supports Donald Trump
Yesterday, the out-spoken rapper also posted a picture of a “Make America Great Again” hat that appeared to be signed by President Donald Trump and Donald Trump Jr.
As if his antics earlier in the day didn’t cause enough uproar, this segment definitely did. A number of fans unfollowed West including mega-celebrities such as #KendrickLamar, #TheWeeknd, #ArianaGrande, #Rihanna and more. West tried to justify his support by tweeting:
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
“You don’t have to agree with trump but the mob can’t make me not love him. We are both dragon energy. He is my brother. I love everyone. I don’t agree with everything anyone does. That’s what makes us individuals. And we have the right to independent thought.”
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
He continued, “If your friend jumps off the bridge you don’t have to do the same,” he added in one of several additional clarifications. “For people In my life the idea of Trump is pretty much a 50 50 split but I don’t tell a Hillary supporter not to support Hillary. I love Hillary too.”
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Even some of West’s friends including Grammy Award-winning musician, #JohnLegend, reached out to him hoping to change his mind.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
“I hope you’ll reconsider aligning yourself with Trump. You’re way too powerful and influential to endorse who he is and what he stands for,” he texted West according to a photo the rapper shared on Twitter of their texting exchange.
“As you know, what you say really means something to your fans…Don’t let this be part of your legacy. You’re the greatest artist of our generation.”
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
West replied, “I love you John and I appreciate your thoughts. You bringing up my fans or my legacy is a tactic based on fear used to manipulate my free thought.”
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Maybe if “expressive” Kanye never said “George Bush doesn’t care about Black people,” his support for America’s most hated president wouldn’t be so profound.
