Former Bad Boy artist Mark Curry recently voiced his perspective on the wealth and influence of music moguls Jay-Z and Sean “Diddy” Combs, as they navigate the current lawsuit against them.

In a candid Instagram Live, Curry questioned their contributions to the community and suggested that their success may have come at the expense of others. Specifically, Curry criticized the lack of outreach from prominent figures like Jay-Z when he was going through hardships.
“He ain’t never picked up the phone and said, ‘Hey, Mark… What can we do to possibly make sure that you’re straight?’ They don’t do that. These n***as is crazy. That’s why they going through what they going through. Because you know why? You do not do God’s children like that. Of course, they are fake.”
He went on to assert that such behavior reflects a broader issue within the industry, where, in his view, the massive success of Diddy and Hov had negative impacts on others.
“Don’t think that Jay-Z and Puff are the biggest moguls ever. They’re great people. But what you want to look at is the great people that weren’t able to become because of them people. So we gonna leave them there? How many people could have been greater that weren’t made because of their empowerment?” he questioned.
The rapper, who was featured on Diddy’s early 2000s hit, “Bad Boys 4 Life,” has been critical of Diddy in the past, slamming him for not paying his artists fairly. He has also blamed the Revolt founder for derailing his career, which seems to be the underlying reason for this latest rant.
