Former Miami Dolphins player Channing Crowder had a lot to say about Russell Wilson’s relationship with Ciara on a recent episode of his podcast “The Pivot.”
Channing repeatedly called Wilson a “square” and implied that Ciara was only with him because he had money. The ex-linebacker feels there’s no way that she could go from someone like Future to Wilson.
His co-hosts, Fred Taylor and Ryan Clark, disagreed. Instead, they feel Ciara decided to choose peace and stability.
Crowder took to Twitter on Saturday to post a photo of Wilson with his ex-GF Ashton Meem from the 2012 NFL draft. Crowder had referenced the picture on the podcast while referring to Wilson as a “goofball.”

Wilson seemed to respond on Sunday, writing, “‘But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.’ Galatians 5:22-23 NIV”
