Ex-NHL Player Arrested for Physically Assaulting Former BET-Host

Last month, former NHL player, Ray Emery was arrested for allegedly beating and threatening his ex-fiancé Keisha Chante’ in an incident that occurred back in 2016.

Chante’, who is a singer and former host of BET’s 106 & Park, originally went to authorities requesting a restraining order against Emery. Her claim was that he’d abused her from July 16th to Sept. 16th.

Emery was taken into custody on Sept. 18th for verbal threats and assault with a weapon. However, he was released on bail and is due back in court later this month.
