Yung Miami celebrated her 28th birthday in Miami on Thursday and shared details on the City Girls’ conversation with Nicki Minaj after it was reported they put their issues behind them.
Baller Alert recently reported Nicki wouldn’t be making music with the duo due to harsh comments they made about her in past interviews and tweets.
Earlier this week Nicki interviewed with The Morning Hustle and was asked if she would do a record with the City girls, she replied, “Well… I don’t know.” “I was thinking about jumping on a record, one of their records at the time. And then… social media happened.”
Although Nicki was offended by the negative comments made by the City Girls in past tweets, Yung Miami said that’s all behind them now.
Miami told Baller Alert they have nothing but love for each other.
“The conversation was real genuine. We talked about the old tweets and how it’s love at the end of the day,” she said. People say things that they don’t mean, and that’s just what it was.”
Miami described Nicki’s response as “really sweet.” She doesn’t know if they’ll be a future collaboration between the City Girls and Minaj; however, it seems like the door for a collab is open.
On Wednesday, Minaj tweeted that she had a great conversation with the duo and said she’d like to “move on and make new memories.”
Both Yung Miami and JT quote tweeted Nicki, with JT saying, “Thank you for your time, your advice. A true queen…love you!”
