Last week, Fabolous was arrested for an alleged domestic violence incident with his longtime girlfriend, #EmilyB. Now, new details have emerged, as the rapper has been officially charged with third-degree aggravated assault and making terroristic threats.

The rapper turned himself into police on March 28 after the two got into an argument outside of their Englewood, NJ home. Footage of the dispute showed Fabolous charging at Emily, as she jumped away in fear and a verbal dispute between Fab and Emily’s father.

According to a probable cause complaint obtained by Bossip, the argument stemmed from an earlier incident, where Fab reportedly punched Emily B in the face seven times, knocking two of her front teeth out.

Since then, the rapper has been slapped with two charges in the third degree. If convicted, according to XXL, Fab faces up to 10 years in prison, as each charge can carry a three to five-year sentence and a maximum fine of $15,000. However, since third-degree aggravated assault is considered a violent crime, Jersey prosecutors often seek the harshest possible penalties, reports state.
