Faith Evans has responded to Stevie J’s divorce petition requesting spousal support and is asking the court to deny his request.Â
Radar Online obtained court documents that show Evans filed her response on December 3. In her rebuttal, she is asking to be awarded “all property acquired prior to marriage, by gift, inheritance, or devise, and after the date of separation.”Â
Her petition claims they have been separated since May 29, 2020, which is very different from the October date the Bad Boy record producer listed in his filing last month. Â
It was not made known by either of their filings whether the couple had a prenuptial agreement in place. A judge has yet to make a ruling on the support.Â
Shortly after Stevie J filed for divorce, the two were seen spending time together on a Malibu beach. Evans shared a video of her and Stevie J doing cartwheels on the sand. After that, a video was released showing Stevie J accusing Evans of cheating and “talking crazy” to her.Â
Stevie J then posted a video apologizing for “talking crazy” to Evans, clarifying that Evans was not unfaithful.Â
“I’d like to make this video for my wife,” he said. “A video was released last week that showed talking crazy to my wife.”
Their divorce proceeding is ongoing.Â
