The 90’s were a great time for music, R&B especially. It was a time where the female voice was a powerhouse and a force to be reckoned with. It wasn’t all about the show but about the pure talent. Times certainly have changed, and with that a few of the R&B singers of yesterday have been a bit quiet lately. Not for long! TV One is introducing “R&B Divas” a new reality show that follows Faith Evans, Monifah, Keke Wyatt, Syleena Johnson & Nicci Gilbert as they live day to day in their careers, family and love lives. The show is co-produced by Faith Evans herself and features interactions with Keke Wyatt and her husband (not sure if this is the one she stabbed) and Monifah’s life after cocaine addiction.
If I had it my way the show would have Keke shanking chicks every hour on the hour. I wonder if TV One will deliver. R&B Divas premieres Monday, August 20th on TV One at 10/9c
