Once again, the internet has run with something that’s completely untrue. On Monday, the net went crazy with rumors that Jeezy’s “false teeth” went flying out during a performance at a Jacksonville, FL nightclub.
Here’s the original report:
“Well this weekend, he inadvertently showed one of his HOOD WOUNDS to fans. You see, at one point his grill came out during the performance, and you can see that he’s missing a few teeth in the front.
At a concert in Jacksonville, Florida, he bugged out when a fan reached out to touch the rapper. His response didn’t include no fists tho. Jeezy just said, “Don’t f*”cking touch me,” then took to social media to school his fans about respecting his personal space.“
Upon reading the blog and seeing the picture, I became increasingly suspicious. Something didn’t look right. For one, I haven’t seen Jeezy in a grill in ages, but I assumed maybe they meant grill as in teeth. He doesn’t even appear to be wearing Jeezy’s signature glasses. But, after putting the “toothless” photo next to photos of Jeezy on Instagram, I quickly noticed that though it strikes an eerie resemblance, the facial hair was completely different. It was sparse and didn’t connect. Nothing like how I’ve seen Jeezy’s facial hair before.
My suspicions were confirmed when a loyal Baller Alert reader who was AT the Jeezy show at Pure Nightclub in Jacksonville on Thursday, provided photo and video evidence that the teeth rumors were false. Not only was the “toothless” photo NOT Jeezy, Jeezy wasn’t even wearing that outfit in Jacksonville. Aside from the outfit, Jeezy was also not wearing a cuban link chain in Jacksonville. The reader also provided a FULL video of Jeezy’s performance and guess what …. no teeth came tumbling out. Thanks @TonyLyle!
