“Family Matters,” Star Says He Can’t Afford to See His Daughter Because He Has Only Made $500 Last Year

Darius McCrary can’t find a job and as a result, the actor says he can no longer afford to pay child support. According to TMZ, the actor says he only made $500 this past year, with his most recent paying job being a 7-day shoot for $125 a day.

Problem is, McCrary says he hasn’t been paid for the shoot yet. To make matters worse, he says he owes the government $90,000. According to the publication, McCrary says he has moved in with his aunt and uncle, just to make ends meet.

However, the money he’s got still isn’t enough to cover court fees, which has prevented him from seeing his daughter. If you recall, the actor has been given a court-appointed monitor because he and his estranged wife have restraining orders against each other. As a result, he’s asking the court to cut him some slack on child support and give him unmonitored visits with his daughter.
