Fan Tells an Unbothered Jay Z He’d Rather Take the $500K Over Dinner [Video]

Do you recall the debate about whether you’d prefer $500,000 or a dinner with Jay-Z?

Well, it got a lot of mixed reactions, with some saying they would choose the dinner with Jay-Z while others who said “heck nah” and opted for the money.

One of those people who agreed with the latter had a chance to tell Jay-Z face to face that he would take the money over the rare opportunity.

The Hip Hop mogul attended the Los Angeles Chargers vs. Dallas Cowboys football game Monday night and while he was walking through the stadium, he was approached.

In the video clip that has since made its rounds on social media, a man who goes by the name Ruthlessrich on social media, is heard telling Hov, “Aye Hov, I’m taking that $500K,” Ruthlessrich told Jay-Z. “I ain’t taking that dinner, I’m taking that $500K.”

The viral question circulated back in 2021. At one point, it seemed Jigga himself weighed in on the debate when the official Tidal account posted: “Take the $500K.”
