Rihanna may have just dropped the single for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, but it doesn’t mean fans still cannot be as mad at the songstress. Though she’s giving the people what they want, fans still find a problem.
After Rihanna announced her very anticipated Savage x Fenty Show Vol. 4, she received a lot of backlash for a celebrity on the guest list: Johnny Depp.
Depp is actually set to have his own spotlight in the show.
Though Depp won the defamation case against an ex, Amber Heard, and was awarded $10 million, the case still sparked major attention partially because it lasted for six weeks and partially because of the whole debate of a man’s word vs. a woman’s word.
Depp is expected to appear at the lingerie show, which is set to premiere on November 9 on Amazon Prime Video.
Check out some fans’ responses to the news that Depp will be starring in the show.

Britney Spears posted a Johnny Depp quote on social media and Amber Heard stans went for her; bullying, harassing & wishing harm on her.
Rihanna invites him on her show and now they go for her. Both are survivors of abuse and are targeted by those claiming to support women.

The fact that it was Rihanna who wanted to work with Johnny tells you everything you need to know.

Johnny Depp has been embraced as a hero by unhinged right-wing misogynist extremists, and now he's been invited to appear in the @SavageXFenty show. Never expected such a powerful woman to succumb to the #MeToo backlash. Really disappointing @rihanna https://t.co/cU882vMiC6

Rihanna inviting Johnny Depp to her show is so, so fucking weird. Not a single billionaire on this planet with decency and she’s keeping up the trend sadly

not Rihanna, a domestic abuse victim, partnering with johnny depp?? pls girly I am trying to see past the money-grabbing billionnairism because you do good makeup and good skincare and good fragrance and good fashion and good music, but I cannot look past this!!!! Disappointed

I’ve been following Rihanna since she debuted in 2005 and I’ve been a huge fan ever since. I remember reading her story and I’ve supported her ever since. I’m so proud of her. Seeing her supporting Johnny Depp like this warms my heart. She knows a survivor when she sees one

Rihanna is fr so weird for bringing Johnny Depp into her show. NO ONE was talking about this man until the trial. the ONLY reason he’s relevant is for beating women. like where is her head

#AbuseHasNoGender trending because Rihanna, a survivor of domestic abuse, invited Johnny Depp, a survivor of domestic abuse, to appear at her Savage x Fenty show pic.twitter.com/1jiJM9AQco

Obviously haters calling it a “He said”/”She said” case posting disparaging remarks about JDepp or Rihanna conveniently ignore actual evidence of abuse by Amber patting themselves on the back pretending to represent a movement they know nothing about. For the record it’s called an Octothorpe or “POUND” sign established n the 17th century not a hashtag so what are you really saying with #MeToo ?!?!
.
Try actually paying attention to facts for once…that would be the real change society needs.
